US Social networks: the affluent connection

Is there any specialty with people who frequents social network sites? At least in n US, there is. Most of the people who frequent social networking sites are likely to belong to more affluent and urban group than others; that is what a new survey says.

Nielsen Claritas, which provides in-depth segmentation analysis of consumer behavior, conducted this survey and it reveals that in America social network like Facebook, MySpace or LinkedIn are used mostly more urban group that the average group of US citizens.

Nielsen Claritas also says that users of Face book are much more likely to use LinkedIn, a network geared towards business and professional networking, than those who use MySpace.
