The famous croc handler, Steve Irwin, had always preferred to provide greater advantage to produce documentaries and take up on tourism and environment campaign than picking up advertising assignments. Discovery Channel was quick to realize his potential and last year he featured in its ad alongside seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. In the ad Steve was shown holding the cyclist aloft and the cyclist was pleading, ‘Don’t let me die’.

In the year, 2003 Toyota had roped Steve for its ads for using genuine parts in its car. However, recently he was seen much dedicated to promote tourism. He was the front face of G’Day LA tourism and they were planning to put him in a new ad campaign scheduled for next year.
