Make hay while the sun shines- this is also true in the case of advertising. It was a clever advertising strategy of PETA which suddenly decided to bank on the hullaballoo over Paul, the octopus, who is believed to have some psychic powers. Paul has grabbed wide spread attention due to its ‘accurate’ predictions of the world cup match results.

Now, here is Pepsi, which makes use of this octopus frenzy before it loses its warmth. The print ad, named ‘Obvious choice’, has been developed by Impact BBDO, Beirut.

The ad shows an illustration of the octopus with a bottle of Pepsi. Well, if Pepsi was selected by the octopus, which one was the other one? Was it Coke?
