A study conducted by Australian Medical Association points out that watching junk food ads make kids obese. The study also says about the health benefits of banning Tv junk food advertising aimed at children.

Studies indicate that childhood obesity in Australia is on a rise. If this trend continues, the study warns that half of the young Australians will be overweight by 2025.

Ok. Fat men and women strolling through parks and beaches in Australia. That won’t be a nice thing to watch and the issue calls for our immediate attention. But, will banning junk food ads do any help? We can’t blame TV, the idiot box, for obesity.

The primary thing that we should do is create healthy eating habits among children. Parents should be a model for them. Even before junk food ads, there was poverty. Sparing a little time to know the world and its harsh realities may also help them, to burn some unhealthy flab.
