A new TV commercial created for Heineken called rooftop, shows a rooftop concert full of rock music, and the generation ‘y’ crowd exploding beer cans at regular intervals. It has been reported that the commercial is actually a satire on beer ad convention.
The ad campaign also attempts at drawing people online where people can create their own joke headline to prank their friends on the website.
On the other hand, Publicis has also created a print ad campaign for Heineken, which was published in magazines in June this year. Interestingly, one ad was bearing the headline, ‘Amnesia Patient Drinks Heineken But Can’t Remember Why’.
