miersRobert Bork and Rush Limbaugh call for President Bush to withdraw Harriet Miers’ nominee from the Supreme Court. Social conservatives must be smiling now. Now don’t ask me why. Surely not as the whiff comes out of Bush but because of a recent survey verdict confirming inclination towards a non-recommendation of the lady who was always questioned for her ‘ideological purity’.
Now the $ 250,000 thousand ad (not a huge budget, anyway) is fully on television and radio and is scheduled to run for a week. Both the judges feel America deserves much better than that and did some sponsored scripted television commentary. That’s another wonder.
As a student of advertising we hope like other successful advertisements this one will also be effective in terms of informativeness, believability (?), truthfulness and persuasiveness.
