
The two online giants, eBay and Google have teamed up for an advertising partnership. The partnership aims at placing buyers in touch with a wider platform of sellers, and that would include localized service provider as well. As per the arrangements of the deal, Google will provide search results whenever a consumer’s search term failed to establish any matches on eBay auction site.

EBay, since long was struggling to catch up with the persons who sell their labor or intellect, not anything in physical form. As a matter fact, eBay was experimenting with this aspect since two years and had taken 25 percent stakes in Craiglist as well for this purpose but ultimately it culminated with the deal with Google.
The new deal, which will enable consumers to receive text advertisement from google, is likely to come into force in early 2007. The financial and other details of the deal are not known as of now as both the companies are tight lipped about the newly forged arrangements.
