Text bullying is something the society has to address seriously and it shows a dark side of technology. Vodafone raised its voice against text bullying through an innovative print campaign. Now, Cyber Mentos, the social net working site aimed at teens who are victims of text bullying has come up with a print advertising campaign against text bullying.
The campaign, developed by M&C Saatchi, London, features the link between teen suicide and text bullying. The ads show silhouetted images of young people who commit suicide by hanging, by cutting the wrist or by an OD. We can also see abusive words(text messages) in all these ads. Yes, words hurt and it kills.
The campaign aims to promote CyberMentors, as the next step to educate victims of text bullying.
