Coca Cola CEO John R. Alm is resigning. Current board chairman Lowery F. Kline will serve as the interim CEO from January 1.
Wasn’t Alm performing up to the mark or was he simply underpaid? Dunno exactly what happened. You can not make a guess from the dull media statement. This is what we have, Kline said in a press statement,
‘John has been an integral part of the Coca-Cola bottling system for more than two decades, and both Coca-Cola Enterprises and the Coca-Cola system have benefited from his leadership and insight.’
If the company has been benefiting from Alm why he is been removed abruptly, that’s remained a question. Is this 59 year old not physically fit any more? Or he is not simply delivering the deal….lets take a look at Alm’s compensation

Bonus (No bonus, its zero) (average 2,040)
