Canadian forces have reportedly dropped much hyped and much pronounced term worldwide, ‘fight terror’ from its latest ad campaign, which is schedule to be launched today. Now, after remodeling the transcript of the ad it reads as, ‘Fight Fear. Fight Distress. Fight Chaos. Fight with the Canadian Forces.’ The original transcript was bearing the reference text ‘fight terror’. However, after receiving negative response from focus group they decided to do away with the particular term and replaced it with ‘fight chaos’.
Even after dropping the term ‘fight terror’ the ad still displaying terrorism, a car trapped in flames and images of spike-wrapped bomb. Therefore, it clearly indicates the wordings have been changed but the visual remains depicting terror, quite in American style.
The 90-second ad spot will be aired on televisions and in movie theaters through out Atlantic Canada.
