Showing bananas may encourage gay men to use condoms. At least The Aids Council NSW (ACON) thinks so. In their new advertising campaign to encourage gay men to use condoms, they are using wax-tipped bananas.
This campaignâs launch partner is International sportswear label teamm8. It also consists of an interactive game with is core theme as collecting condoms and avoiding unprotected sex.
Why did they choose banana as a symbol of this campaign? Well, it is really an apt symbol.
