This is no ordinary desk lamp. Conceptualized by Parth Parikh from New Delhi, India, the Ligh[k]it desk lamp focuses on enhanced user interaction by incorporating smart technology. The Ligh[k]it desk light integrates a camera, projector, memory card slot and an USB port. Featuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, the task/desk lamp lets people to share any physical or digital object on its surface remotely. Moreover, the Ligh[k]it also integrates Skype calling. The lamp camera captures the video of the local workspace and sends it to the remote location, and the projector projects the video of remote space onto the local workspace.
The lighting can be controlled with hand gestures. While a single tap on the touch-sensitive surface turns on/off the lamp, a double tap stats/stops the camera. The direction of the light can be controlled by swiping the finger left, right, up and down. The zooming is controlled by squeezing and expanding the fingers. By simply rotating the fingers, you can control the intensity of light.
The ingenious Ligh[k]it desk lamp has all its focus on interactivity, simplicity, smart technology and multifunctionality.
