UNICEF: 1.5 million children die every year from drinking polluted water

unicef polluted water 25

Unicef has recently launched this print advertisement to draw attention towards the monstrous problem that millions of children die every year from drinking polluted water. The visually compelling advertisement aims at creating awareness about how disastrous and destructive we have made water, which is still considered as one of the basics of life. The advertisement exaggerating the idea has displayed water to appear as if a nuclear explosion has taken place to underscore the intensity of water pollution and its effect on human kind.

The advertisement is unquestionably a smart and intelligent one, which largely depends on the powerful visual it has incorporated. Further showing water as if it is causing a mass destruction was very appropriately carried out. The only thing that remains unanswered is the water still appears to be clean and fresh. The copy of the ad reads, ‘1.5 million children die every year from drinking polluted water.’ The ad was created by Serviceplan Hamburg, Germany.
