If you are bored of those regular vacation plans and want to try out something new this year, choose to stay at one of the most bizarre hotels in the world. There are a number of lodges or resorts on this earth that would truly make you feel surprised. Want to explore? Here is the list for you:
Marmara Antalya
It is another out of the ordinary hotel, situated in the city of Antalya in south-west Turkey. Being the one and only revolving hotel in the world, the Marmara Antalya comes at the top of the list of the most unusual hotels. It gives a wonderful 360 degree view of the popular Falez cliffs on which the hotel is set. There are a total of 208 well-equipped rooms among which 24 are spacious bedrooms intended for guests. Each and every room in the Marmara Antalya is overlooking the magnificent Taurus Mountains, the profound Mediterranean Sea and the rest part of the city. The ‘revolving loft’ is placed in a large pool containing almost 478-ton water and is powered by 6 high-capacity electric motors.
ICEHOTEL
If you want to chill in a hotel which is made of real snow, you have to visit the ICEHOTEL at Jukkasjärvi in Sweden. It is known to be the largest hotel in the world which is completely made of frost and snow. Being an ice-made structure, it gets melted each year. However, there is a specific team of designers as well as builders who reconstruct the entire building every year in the month of November. From the guest rooms to the wedding chapel, everything is rebuilt in a different way. All furniture and decorations inside the hotel are also made of snow. So, if you are ready to spend a few days in a place having minus 5 degree Celsius temperature, give ICEHOTEL a try.
Mirrorcube
Located at Harads in Sweden, this exclusive construction disguised by mirrored walls is a thrilling hideaway in the midst of trees. While visiting Sweden, many people choose to spend a couple of days in this unique hotel. The Mirrorcube is basically a medium-sized cubical structure made of aluminum. The volume of the box is (4 x 4 x 4) meter cube and it is quite lightweight. The cube is fully covered by one-way mirrors in order to offer a 360-degree view of the backdrop to the guests. As the walls are reflective, birds can easily collide with it by mistake. In order to avoid it, the mirrors are coated with special UV shade, which is perceptible only to birds. There is a living room with a beautiful double bed, a petite bathroom with modern amenities, a patio, and a cabin. The Mirrorcube is dangled around the shaft of a tree and provides a wonderful accommodation for couples.
