There have been some spectacular rides already installed and some more are under consideration at various places around the world. Roller coasters are generally everybody’s favorite for getting thrilling experiences. Steel Dragon 2000, Japan

This roller coaster ride was built in 2000 in Nagashima Spa Land in Mie Prefecture. Steel Dragon has the world’s longest ever coaster stretch and the scariest part is that you do not have a choice once you are on it and it takes you slowly high up at 306 feet. You always feel some suspense when you are taken up on the first hill. It takes endurance while you cover its 8,133-foot stretch and handle it all for about four full minutes. So, really think if you have those nerves of steel to sit patiently on this roller coaster and get a scary thrill.

Kingda Ka, New Jersey

This roller coaster is based in Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson and is the tallest in the world. This also takes you on one of the fastest rides at about 128 mph. Kingda Ka gives you a 456-foot drop and is one of the only two Stratacoasters. This means that it drops you from a height of more than 400 feet. Within just 59 seconds, you are made to go on an upside down track that is U-shaped. As rollbacks happen sometimes on this roller coaster, you should be ready for them.

Bizzaro, Massachusetts

It is based in Six Flags, New England in Agawam. This coaster goes up to 208 feet while it gives you a 221-foot drop and that too, in a dark tunnel where it is all foggy. Those who really love being in the air with their heart in the mouth would appreciate the kind of thrill this roller coaster provides. The cars only come up to the level of a person’s ankles from sides and that additionally makes the rider vulnerable. That makes the whole scene quite scary for the person but it is surely entertaining for an enthusiast.

Colossus, England

Located in Thorpe Park in Surrey, Colossus roller coaster gives you such twists and turns that you would not have ever experienced on another roller coaster. There are 10 inversion that are all disoriented. Some are in a cobra roll, one in a vertical loop, and some others in heart-line twists. One sudden inversion comes right before you are going to reach the station. People who have had a ride on Colossus advise to be aware of its roughness. It has a hydraulic launch system just like an aircraft carrier utilizes to propel fighter jets that accelerate to 60 mph from 0 within merely two seconds. Even though the roller coaster maintains its top speed for a small time, the riders who sit at the front have to wear protective glasses. You can now imagine how tough the ride is going to be.

Phantom’s Revenge, Pennsylvania

Based in Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, this coaster scarily gives you a 232-foot drop under a ravine support structure of another coaster. The Phantom’s Revenge is quite infamous as it does not let its riders be prepared for the plunge until and unless they are ready for the ride. Expedition GeForce, Germany

Richard Rodriquez who is known to be the Roller Coaster King rode this roller coaster each day constantly for 49 days. He set the Guinness world record for the longest continual coaster ride. Built in Holiday Park in Hassloch, Expedition GeForce give you seven inversions and makes you feel the thrill from a 184-foot hill having an angle of 82 degrees. That makes it quite steep to be riding upon. In fact, this coaster has a history of one of its cars being derailed mysteriously after a drop, while its passengers had to be saved by firefighters.
