I had been to US many a time but this was first time to Washington DC. TheGaylord hotel at national harbor provided the relaxing environment I neededafter my hectic and stressful life in Dubai. Managed to spend good time inhotel first few days, and just before the congress visited some awesomeplaces in Washington DC, including National history and science museum.Weather was divine so I walked a lot around the city. J
The Global Medical Travel was a valuable stream of 8th Annual GlobalHealthcare Congress by World Congress, I was impressed with delegateprofile. Decision maker from Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic,Apollo and several other international healthcare providers were present. Iwas happy to chair very interactive sessions where we exchanged veryimportant information on current trends on medical travel. Discussion topicwere globalization of healthcare, PPP in medical travel, Healthcare clusterand innovation in medical tourism.
Post event I had pleasure to meet with Jo Woodman, author of Patient BeyondBorder book series, such a wonderful gentleman, I had a great time duringlunch with him. Jo believes that Medical Tourism is going to have greatgrowth in coming time, which I truly agree. He is coming up with moreregional series, best wishes to Jo and his team.
I had little disappointment at airport with United airline, not so greatcustomer services, hope they will improve.
