Location
Malta is located in the central part of the Mediterranean Sea, about 93 kilometers to the south of Sicily. From the nearest point of north African mainland, it is about 290 kilometers. Between Malta and African mainland, there are three islands – Malta, Gozo and Comino. Moreover, there are certain small-inhabited islands like Cominotto and Filfla.
