Croatia

Croatia, largely known as The Republic of Croatia, lies in the southeastern part of Europe. It forms a long maritime border with Italy in the Adriatic Sea. This maritime border ranges up to 2028 kilometer. Another unique feature about this country is the shape, which is very uncommon in the world and is not similar to any other region. This uncommon shape was a result of the expansion by the Ottoman Empire towards the central part of the Europe. Moreover, Croatia was never conquered or invaded by the Turks.

Croatia is located in the southeast Europe with a long coastline on the Adriatic Sea at the south, Hungary and Slovenia in the north and the east covers Bosnia, Yugoslavia, and Herzegovina.

The inland of this country has a very harsh continental climate with extreme differences in the temperature of summer and winters.
