Florida is home to the best beaches in the world. The waters along the Florida beaches are generally warmer than other beaches in the United States. Some of the best beaches are on the lower Gulf Coast.

  • Fort Lauderdale Beach: The City of Fort Lauderdale boasts of more than 7 miles of sparkling beaches. The City’s wavewall and signature promenade highlights beside the beach stands at Fort Lauderdale’s coastline. There is an array of shops, restaurants and side-walk cafes along the coast line. 15 years of continuous redevelopment has transformed this beach from a seasonal tourist destination to an all year-round family resort destination.

  • Daytona Beach: This beach is ideal for driving cars, racing bikes, four wheelers, scooters etc. because of its hard-packed sand. This beach attracts millions of tourists for the Daytona International Speedway. The historic Daytona Beach Pier has been recently reopened and nearby there are roller coaster-rides and ferris wheel on the Boardwalk Entertainment area.

  • Fort Myers Beach: this is surrounded by tropical beauty and wild life and white sandy beaches. There are quite a few islands to explore around this beach. Also offers kayaking and canoe trails.   • Siesta Key Beach: This beach is only 15 minutes from Sarasota, parking is free, there are snack bars and restrooms along the beach. This sand is sugar white and soft and the beach itself is really wide. It is also one of the best people watching beaches. It has a leisurely crowd of all age groups. The waters are calm and inviting.

  • Manatee County Public Beach: This is one of the best family beaches in the coast of Florida. Anna Maria is a residential community with no high-rises, big hotels or nightlife. It is all about enjoying the beach and the village with a calm and serene atmosphere.

  • Virginia Key: This is another beach on Key Biscayne. This is an extremely picturesque and deserted beach.  People go there to find some quiet time for them and to purposely get lost.

  • Panama City Beach: This beach offers 27 miles of sandy white sands and emerald green waters. It is all about pleasing all your five senses at once. You can taste some of the best sea food, feel the warm water lap lazily against your bare skin, smell the salty sea-water, listen to local bands performing in night clubs and see a huge expanse of white sands to last a lifetime.

  • Pensacola Beach: This beach has the longest beach pier in the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is ideal for snorkeling, kayaking and biking.
