Krabi is located on the west coast of southern Thailand near to the Krabi River where it empties in Phangnga Bay. It has a total population of 24,986. The climate is 6 month rainy season between May and November with heavy rains. If you are a sea food lover then don’t miss the delicious sea food. Tiger cave Temple
It is located in the northeast of karbi, Thailand. It is located 9 kilometers from Krabi town. This temple is the most famous for Buddhist sites. The tiger paw prints in caves and the tall Buddha statues attracts the tourists. The golden Buddha statue is of 278 meters tall. It is visible from the bottom of mountain before getting up to the stairs. Have to climb 1237 steps to reach that tiger cave temple. After climbing to the temple the view from there is 360 degree almost around and really feels amazing.
Railay Beach
It is a micro peninsula located between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang in Thailand. We can reach the place only through boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. Beautiful beaches and relaxing atmosphere. There are three sides to the railay beach peninsula. The west railay beach is also called Sunset beach, Phra Nang Beach on the south-facing side, White sand beach surrounded by beautiful emerald clear water. The hotels and resorts on these beaches are more expensive but the cheaper hotels are also available on the mangrove-lined East beach.
Emerald pool
This is called as Sra Morakot which means emerald pool. It is located in fertile rain forest jungle with bulk of trees. It is an hour away from the krabi town popular for the locals and tourists. The water in this pool is fresh and cool coming from the streams of hill. It is best seen in the morning time. Clean blue water made the place look more attractive. Along with the pool we can also walk on the paths where we can find the shelter from the hot sun in the shade of trees. There is a constant chirping of crickets and frogs croaking. The beauty of flowers and the different shades of green attract the viewers’ attention.
Elephant Trekking
A wonderful feeling of going ride on an elephant. It takes a ride along all the way of Krabi. You can experience the very soothing and the silent movements of the elephant take much closer to the wild life. After finishing the ride you will get a chance to feed the elephants with tasty morsels. Some have you can still watch the elephants having the bath.
