Located near the towns of Soufriere and Choiseul on the southwestern coast of the island, the Pitons are two mountainous volcanic plugs in Saint Lucia – namely Gros Piton and the Petit Piton, wherein latter is 743 meters high. The Piton Mitan ridge links both pitons. These two are considered to be the only drive-in volcano in the world. One of the main attractions of the St Lucia is the sulpher springs.
