Do’s and don’ts for your journey via planes

Some people may not agree but flying is the best way of travelling in the modern world. Avid travelers and business travelers cannot avoid flying. Pleasure and business are not the only reasons why people board a plane. Many of them move to and fro, from one home to another and some fly for treatment. People have different budgets and needs. Getting the right flight ticket and following the right tips can help in making your plane ride a safe and happy one. Most of us just think of the destination more than the journey though a careless attitude during your journey can create severe problems for you. For travelling you may have to pass through several international airports and get checked by different customs. In the following you will find some useful tips you can apply in real life while flying.

Do’s

1. Carry Disposable Mats

Maintaining hygiene is necessary because otherwise you may fall ill or feel embarrassed. The airplane tray tables are for eating but people use them for changing diapers of their kids and small kids can be messy eaters. Often the tray tables are not cleaned after a flight so they stay dirty and full of germs. The best way to counter this problem is to carry disposable mats for spreading on your tray tables.

2. Know the right day

In the weekends airports are more thickly crowded than the rest of the week because many people go on weekend getaway trips. Business people prefer to fly on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. The best you can do is booking your tickets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in the middle of a week. This way you can get cheaper tickets and also will not have to wait in long queues.

3. Four wheeler bag

Planning to buy a new travel bag? Make sure it has four wheels for swifter movement and less trouble. A four wheeler travel bag is ideal for moving fast through a thick crowd of people and you can keep the bag ahead of you for both protection and visibility.

Don’ts

1. Don’t be lenient about custom checking

Reaching the airport with sufficient time in hands is the best possible thing. This way you can get your custom checking done without fuss and wait some time before boarding. Keep your luggage packed and ready the day before the flight so there is no chaos.

2. Don’t carry hazardous objects

Do not pack drugs, chemicals, fire prone objects, lighters or sharp objects. Keep away from strangers. Being cautious is always better than being questioned by customs officers.
