Top Places We Wish Existed in Real

Top Places We Wish Existed in Real

Let your mind travel to these out-of-this-world places, that do not exist. We sure wish they did!

1. Castle House Island, Dublin, Ireland

This image which had all of us adventure-addicts lusting after it was created by photoshopping a part of the Schloss Lichtenstein Castle in Germany on top of James Bond Island in Khao Phing Kan, Thailand. This would have been an splendid place to get away from literally everything. Too bad it does not exist in real.

2. The Forgotten Temple of Lysistrata, Greece

This beautiful but fake sight is a photoshop combination of the Pantheon in Rome with the Benagil Cave in Algarve, Portugal. Too bad it does not exist in reality. I could already imagine myself with gladiators and lions and cheering for the best man to win!

3. The Underwater Train in Venice, Italy

The train is actually a Danish ‘H’ train, running from Copenhagen to Frederikssund, as one can see in the photo. The station is a photoshop combination of a train station with an aquarium tunnel. If those giant aquariums left you open-mouthed , then travelling on a train that would go through one would have taken your breath away, speaking in placid tones.

4. The Isle of Skye, Scotland

This place exists! But not in Scotland and it doesn’t have purple trees. A major photoshop job was done on an image of the Shotover River in New Zealand.

5. Narnia

Wouldn’t you like to step on to a mysterious winter wonderland, leaving behind your worries, while virtually stopping time in the real world? Who wouldn’t? Just take a walk into the wardrobe and poof! You are gone, take part in all the adventures of the world, become kings, princes and knight and still come back to your world, to see that nothing has changed at all in reality. We wish Narnia were real.

6. The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter

How can we talk of mystical places we wish existed and leave out Hogwarts? Of course, there is Universal Orlando’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which helps to quench our magical hunger by some amounts, but it could never compare to the world J.K. Rowling created in our imaginations. She had the world lusting over Hogwarts , children and adults alike. Not surprising that many of us waited and waited for an owl to invite us to the mystical place. In Vain! We want to mingle with real witches and wizards as we sip our Butterbeer in Diagon Alley.
