According to me, Self Love and Self Care have now taken a gigantic step into wellness.
We are continuously evolving as a species and embracing the concept of overall wellness. Now we are ready to explore all dimensions of wellness.
More and more people are taking up the concept of self-care and self-love as important wellness practices.
At first, we placed too much concentration on doing activities that pushed us out of our comfort zone and  drove us towards exhaustion.
But now it’s changing.

Here are 5 Top self-care wellness trends that I have evaluated in recent times, from my speeches in over 65 countries.

1. Experiential wellness

In the survey by Mind-Body, 42% of those polled valued experiences moreover material possession.
It seems as if people love doing things and interacting with wellness rather than merely possessing things.
They are visiting wellness centers, spas, salons, and wellness retreat more to unwind and experience true wellness.
Fitness centers are offering less punishing ways of remaining active and fit. Moving out of body exhaustions to inner wellbeing.

2. Taking time out to sleep more
Bad news, we are a coffee-gulping, late night-streaming, sleep-deprived generation.
Good news, we have realized the importance of taking time out to sleep.
Given our lifestyle, it is only obvious that we are suffering from insomnia and are having a difficult time falling asleep.
People are downloading calmness and sleep apps to help them fall asleep.
They are also investing in mattresses and natural supplements to induce sleep.

3. Concepts like – Hygge, the Danish obsession with getting cozy is spreading in the world
Hygge, simply means to be cozy and comfortable; a feeling that induces the wellbeing feeling.
It involves self-pampering, enjoying food and drinks that you enjoy, gives you a chance of enjoying human warmth.

4. Emotional wellness
Mind-Body survey reports, 54% of the people claimed that they are as focused on their emotional wellness as they are about their physical wellness.
People are replacing vicious diet cycles and focusing on sustainable and healthy diets that make them happy and satisfied.
More and more people are talking about their feelings and problems openly without fearing stigma.
People are forming bonds and seeking intimacy in relationships.

5. Complementary and alternative medicine
People have started realizing the negative side effects of western medicine, and are ready to explore alternative options.
They are looking for alternative ways to healing, not just for mental problems but also physical problems.
They don’t want to just suppress the symptoms but actually want their body to heal.
