As humans, we have to be dependent on other people. Sometimes, this is necessary, but most of the time, the only thing we lack is a bit of knowledge outside our field of expertise. Everyone can write something, we all can understand things like WordPress, Microsoft Office, etc. By having extensive knowledge in a diverse number of fields, we become independent i.e. we don’t need anyone to do simple tasks. Furthermore, even when it comes to complicated things, we’d have a rough idea about them, and when we are assigning the task to someone, we’d find it much easier to evaluate and judge them.
