The problem with most of us is that we look in the eyes of others for our own self-respect. This is very wrong. Although good relations do nurture us with positivity, not all the relationships are like that. Most people don’t know us for who we are. They simply look at our exterior or at our achievements that might be appealing to them. So, going by their opinion would certainly be toxic for us. Therefore, if we want any semblance of stability in our lives, we should try to discover respect within ourselves. It’d stay with us even when the whole world feels against us.
