These simple ideas can help you score big on your first date

First dates are full of so many expectations and so many doubts that can easily overwhelm some people. Will she like me, will he be as dashing as I am expecting him to be, will her and mine intellectual level match, and so many other questions that could easily make anyone nervous and anxious. However, getting nervous is no solution to this but being confident and presentable is.

Your first date is as crucial as an interview you face to get a job, as if you score well in your first date, it could lead to many more in future and probably you end up having a lifelong relationship with her or him. All this means you are supposed to score well on your first date and here is how you can do that:

Keep it simple and precise

Rude Date

On a first date, both people are strangers to each other or they know little about each other, which clearly means it can be uncomfortable for both to spend a lengthy date together. First date should always be short and sweet so that none of the two feels uncomfortable and has to pretend for a long. Meet over a coffee, or have a lunch together.

Avoid questions that make your date feel like an interview

As earlier mentioned, a first date is as crucial as a job interview but this does not mean one should behave like an interviewer at it. You should refrain asking too obvious questions that can make your partner feel like he or she has come to give an interview. First date is a mean to get to know each other but expecting to know about the entire family and status in a day is wrong.

Avoid intense arguments

Cafe

Some people, especially men have the habit of expressing their knowledge over usual heated issues related to the economy, society, caste or religion but for god’ sake, do not start any such conversation on your first date. The girl has not come nicely dressed to know all this, so steer away from such heated conversations.

Talk, but only sense

Nobody likes to date a super shy personality who does not talk only, so do talk. However, whatever you talk must be all sense and be very careful how you portray yourself in front of your date. Talking about others in an insulting manner, do not behaving properly with people around, or talking bad about your ex are some signs that can straight away snatch you chance of seeing your first date over and over again in life, in fact he or she will never turn up again.

Eye contact

Eye contact that you make with a person shows your confidence, your clear heart and a number of other good things. While having a conversation with your date, ensure you continue looking into their eyes to show you are all ears to them. Not all you men, but the desperate ones, if she catches you staring her boobs even once never expect to see her again.

A positive conversation tone

Couple enjoying a meal

On a first date, two people meet to decide whether they want to take things ahead or not. Both disclose some things about them so that they both get some depth into each other’s character that comes handy while deciding to stick on or to move on.

However, first dates are not meant for discussing negative stuff, such as hardships of life, the guilt or repent regarding to your last relationship, or money problems. We are not saying you should hide these things but certainly one should not disclose all such matters on a very first date.

First date is like a job interview that decides whether there is any future with your date or it is the first and the last meeting in itself.
