How to deal with hate

Feelings of hatred and distress can only make your life worse. People suffering with this kind of problem should find a way out in order to deal with the basic issues of life. Other wise life is too difficult to handle. Here we have given some tips that might help you.

No one is perfect

You will hardly find people who are impeccable. Nobody is perfect and every one have their own share of quirks and flaws. Of course this shouldn’t be a real reason to dislike someone. Psychological studies say that if you dislike a person/thing strongly, it might be due to the fact that you see a part of your behavior, you dislike in that person. It is a natural tendency that you prefer to stay in a company that satisfies your ego. You are merely attracted to people who share some common interests and snub those who replicate what you don`t like about ourselves. So we should always remember that if you don’t like a person, it is a part of your identity the person is reflecting.

Acceptance of the fact

If you hate a person, it doesn’t mean that he is a bad person. Accept the fact that no one is perfect. Do not try to change a person just because you don’t like him. Just accept him for what he is and move on. You may look bad if they get to know that you don’t like them. They might try to push the buttons that could provoke and piss you off. So stay calm and maintain your cool.

Interaction with that person helps you to cope with that person. It doesn’t matter if you have to fake it. Just do it. That is the way to get on in a more friendly manner, with people you can`t stand.

Look at the positive side

Good and bad are like two side of a coin, if you are honest, you can notice the positive aspects of the person you despise. No body is entirely bad. Bear that in mind. To some extent it is true that people prefer not to look beyond their judgments. In fact, in some cases it will take all the strength you have to do so. Demonstrate maturity in your relationships. You can achieve this by looking at the positives in that person. Your bondage with your negative feelings is a hindrance to your social relationship. There is a possibility that you may like the person if you have a broad outlook.

Be nice to the person you can`t stand

Everyday is not a sunday: You never know what happens tomorrow. You might even need the help of the person you dislike. Avoid being harsh and rude to someone you don`t like. There is every chance that the person might remember that when you are desperately in need of his help. There might be a chance that there are people who don’t like you. You don’t expect them to be disrespectful to you. So why not cope with the person you hate with the same attitude.

Consequences of hatred

Hatred is like a double edged sword. If a person hates you or you hate a person, you are more than likely causing a devastating effect on your personality. If you don’t like a person, remember that they are not worth your hatred. Just ignore them and stay indifferent. Some times the reason for your hatred can be entirely different. It might be due to the fact that you feel that life offered you a raw deal and others got it easily. The worst part of hatred is that your argument is pointless and yields you nothing but mental torture. You are put out of your comfort zone.

Often haters tend to be erratic and irrational. They might hate some people just because they remind them of people they intensely hate.

You might even end up losing your loved ones in this struggle with your emotions. No matter how loyal your friends are, they give up after a certain stage just because you are not willing to change. They too have a life.

You should not hate something or someone; instead you should be loving them for you may learn to rectify the part of your personality that you tend to hate. Learn to cope with your emotions and lead a happy life!
