To be judged is to judge

To-be-judged-is-to-judge

We have a tendency to look, evaluate, and judge. Its in our nature to look at a particular situation and figure out if its dangerous or not. We also have a tendency to look at others, and feel as if we know exactly the type of person they are, because of past experiences. This is a harmful pattern that burns your valuable energy.

Its easy to look at someone, and based on their appearance and behavior  to categorize them and place them in a box. By going through this whole process, we are wasting valuable energy in taking the time out to go through this process, instead of going through the motions and allowing things to unfold naturally  and we’re taking ourselves out of the moment by trying to plan our actions towards that person.

A much better way to be, is to remove this whole process of judging and categorizing. Who were are and how we behave should be much stronger than to be influenced, and changed based on who we are with. We should aim to be the same around everybody, so therefore having to judge someone and categorize them would be redundant. Our actions would not be based on how we evaluated the person, or even a situation, but they will be based on our beliefs, values and morals. We will be projecting outwards, instead of scanning and predetermining.

Taking this out of the equation, and investing in becoming a stronger character, would free up much more time to be at peace with the surroundings and taking everything in your stride.
That is what life is about, and by creating these pigeon holes, we are taking ourselves out of the experience.
