All of us experience endless thoughts every moment, but some people just limit their thoughts and go stuck. This means that they keep recreating the same thoughts and keep maintaining the same beliefs about themselves. They also keep doing the same things and uttering the same words. It is a kind of reinforcement for their ego. Their limited thoughts also keep creating similar images in their minds that govern their behavior. This is actually self-talk and its endless loop that develops out of it. When your behavior and approach to life remains the same, you keep creating the same circumstances as you previously did.

However, there is only one way to create a new reality and that is by realizing the dangers from self-talk and its endless loop. You need to understand that self-talk does not offer peace and interrupts every moment of your experiences. Whenever you wish to have a peaceful moment, it starts its chatter. If you want to have an enjoyable moment, then it kills that enjoyment and makes you lose your focus.

Self-talk always comes with its noise and spoils every single experience. When your genuine experiences are spoiled, it is like spoiling your whole life. Even if you are reading something and trying to come out with the real meaning of a piece of writing, self-talk destroys it all by bringing-in its own meaning.

For example, you may be giving a presentation and then self-talk starts. It then diverts your thoughts to what you are doing or should do next, what somebody else is not doing, etc.

To conquer self-talk, it is critical to observe its strategies. Self-talk feeds it on your senses. Thus, you may only defend it by being the gatekeeper of your senses. Be persistent if you wish to destroy your enemy. You can have the image of your self-talk in others and your relationships with them. You can also see its image in your society that is facing several problems. To remove these problems you will have to remove self-talk. Observe the image of your self-talk in others. See what you hate in others and remove those habits from within yourself, because what you hate in others is what you hate in yourself.

There are several things that self-talk cannot coexist with. If you want to remove self-talk, then start working on developing those virtues. Start giving a focus to your mind whenever you do something. Maintain a blissful and harmonious environment. Avoid giving importance to every little thing and make peace with negatives.

You should also remain true to yourself if you want to avoid self-talk to interfere in your experiences. Enjoy your experiences genuinely by being carefree. When you have unconditional love for others, and hope and faith in yourself, then you may push self-talk away. Observe the loop of your self-talk and react positively to destroy its negatives.
