Dress Well
Don’t over dress yourself and at the same time don’t be too casual. Dress in a simple yet presentable manner. You shouldn’t be giving an impression that you are trying too hard and at the same time, you also shouldn’t be giving an impression that you are making no effort at all. Hence, you will have to choose the go-between a party dress and a casual in order to pull off this one successfully. Your dresses say a lot about you as a person and hence, choose carefully.
Be Firm but Polite
It is quite possible you will be asked a few personal questions and questions that make you feel uncomfortable. As long as they don’t go overboard, answer politely. Hence, keep back and don’t do it, no matter what happens. You have to resist your urge to drink on this day because if you get drunk and create a scene while you are to meet the parents, there is a good chance that you are going to lose your partner too.
