Normally brothers are a pillar of strength. However, sometimes they act weird and it becomes very tough to handle them. Yet a little effort is worth for such a lovely relationship. Here are some ways to deal with brothers.
Ask your sibling the reason for their behavior
There could always be a reason for their behavior. You just have to know it. Sometimes with younger brothers, the reason is they want to spend more time with you, they like to play and interact with you, and when you do not give them enough time their behavior might be troublesome. If you have an elder brother behaving that way then the reason could be that he wants his space. Whatever may be the reason for the behavior, either with a younger or elder one, you just need to sort it out. Communication is the best way to solve the issues. Sit with your brother, ask him the reason for his behavior towards you. Remember, you need to maintain a polite, calm tone. You must be a good listener. You need to first listen to what he has to say completely without interrupting. Once he is done, try explaining things to him. This might solve the issue.
Talk to your parents
Take your parents help to deal with your difficult brother. If you have tried resolving these by yourself and they have not worked, it is best to resort to parents help. Discuss the problem with them. Let them come out with a solution. Your troublesome brother might listen to your parents. Tell your parents how your brother is troubling you, ask them for their help, for example, if your brother is disturbing you while studying, ask your parents to tell your brother not to bother you. He might listen to them.
Ignore them
If you have resorted to every option to deal with your troublesome sibling, but none worked then try ignore them. It is easy to preach than practice, but this is one option that eventually work. A person cannot bug you for your entire life. If you stop giving him reaction and act just that he does not exist then he will ultimately lose interest and get away with it. He will either leave you alone or find someone else.
