Strike a conversation with them. Rather than directly asking them to date you, talk to them and get to know them. Striking a conversation will also help you know if they are interested in you. It will also help you decide if at all you are going to ask this person out.
Greeting Card
This works great if you have been friends with someone for a while. Slip in the greeting card inside that person’s bag or send them an e-card. Or just give them the card in person. Don’t forget to write “Will you be my Valentine?” on that card or else, the entire thing is going to be pointless. Make sure you buy a nice romantic greeting card in order to drive the point home with enough force. You can also make your own greeting card and give it to them. It will add a personal touch and hence, will be more appreciated.
The Traditional Route
No girl can deny a guy going down on 1 knee in public. Go do that and see what she says. However, this is a very huge risk and can backfire on you. Hence, think well before you go ahead and do it. You don’t want to end up in a mess, after it all gets over. Thus, do this only if the girl has shown positive signs towards liking you.
At the end of it all, if you do face rejection then let it be. May be, that person is not meant for you.
