5 Ways To Make A Positive Change In Your Life

– You have many dreams and aspirations that you procrastinate until a future date when all these perfect conditions are aligned    before you pursue them

We all get to a point in our lives where nothing seems to be stimulating or exciting for us. Having a job is absolutely fantastic, but not when it has become monotonous and you really aren’t learning anything.

So in fact, you’re earning money to go home and spend that money on actually enjoying yourself. You have to spend more money to compensate for the miserable time you had at work, so the fact that you have a job means you end up spending more to make up for it.

Therefore, having a job means you are always Just Over Broke (Job). You just have enough to live slightly comfortably but for this privilege, you have to give up the best hours of your day, use up all of your energy, and neglect YOU.

If, like so many employees out there you feel like this, it’s time for a change.

The are two books that have inspired me to make a change and to write this post are The $100 Start Up by Chris Guillebeau and The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferris.

I have always been someone who doesn’t stick around if I’m not having fun or if I don’t feel like I’m working towards my goals in a particular role. Why would I spend my days miserable just to pay my bills and end up spending more money cheering myself up because I have a job that makes me miserable? Seems like a vicious cycle to me.

We all have hobbies. We all have passions. Fear and anxiety are there because the outcome is unknown and it’s a natural feeling to have. The trick is to face it and do it anyway.

I took these steps and made a positive change in my life. How?
