Twitter is the answer to our internet-savvy attention-deficit generation with short messages and posts which are ‘trending’. More and more people prefer Twitter to any other social networking site. Getting a program will give you a better idea of the flow of tweets and an even quicker overview.
  • Whom to follow? – Whoshouldifollow.com is the answer. Based on your username, it will look for people whom you might want to follow on Twitter. Twitdir.com is a cool directory for you to find out interesting fellow Twittermen wherein you get a whole list of the top 100 most-followed twitterers.
  • What do I want to know about ? – You can look for absolutely anything that piques your interest on Twitter. Summize.com allows you to type in a word or a phrase and searches all of Twitter’s feeds to find if there is any tweet on it. An RSS feed will update you whenever any new tweet has been posted regarding your search word or phrase.
  • How do I share stuff ? – Twitthis.com allows other people to share the URL of your site or blog via Twitter.
  • Keep it real – Twitter is preferred because it rapid and gives the user real-time data. It is informative and keeps the user up-to-date with what is happening. If you want to be a smart Twitter member, you have to keep it real. Post stuff which is trending right now, at that moment.
