Education must make more human beings, less professionals

Has education lost its real meaning? Nowadays it plays a vital role in instigating the fear of life, struggle and success in human beings, which makes it difficult for you to make wise decisions in life. People continuously suppress the spirit to attain the unattainable and chose the most chosen way to success. You try hard to behave the way your neighbor behaves since that is acceptable in the society.

The end-result

The end-result

The mere target of education is seen as getting a distinction, landing with an exceptional job and making money in life. Does education only have to teach you the art of making money or something far beyond that? The whole idea of educating oneself seems vague and shallow, as the end goal is limited to success, which has a definition of its own. The aim of getting educated could never be to make you a bookworm who turns into a world-renowned scientist who knows everything but themselves.

The real meaning

The real meaning

Education emphasizes on the secondary values of life rather than life itself. It is important to learn the ways of leading a peaceful and productive life. Productive does not mean you learn the ability to leave others behind but you learn the ways to find eternal peace in the possessions you are born with.

Integrity

Integrity

The function of the education has to make people who have the utmost virtue of integrity. This quality should stop them from cheating others and becoming a part of cutthroat competition. Education should minimize our social barriers that make it difficult for us to be equal in society. On the contrary, the current education system makes us thoughtless and mechanical. It teaches us the ways to make advancements in life only in the spheres of external self; the internal self-remains untouched with it.

Social desirability

Social desirability

Education fills us with the fear of getting acceptance from the society, which eventually takes away your individuality from you.  Education lacks the teachings of self-knowledge and self-expression that makes someone able to withstand all odds of life. There is hardly a single person in the crowd who has the guts to take a different way to success and that to with a lot of dissonance from the society.

The real self

The real self

What actually could be the importance of a learning where you keep getting away from your real self? Society considers them really educated who lose their real sense of being compassionate with others and makes them winners no matter what means they follow during the course of achieving their goals. Each one of us is well aware of this fact but again the fear of social accepetance takes us away from reality.

The real purpose

It is not making more scientists who sometimes contribute in making destructive weapons and that too with great proud but making more and more integrated people who have learnt the art of facing their fears. Education should create human beings who are real, compassionate, kind, giving charismatic, valuable and different without the fear of failure and social acceptance.

It is important to understand the real meaning of education so that everyone understands the importance of knowing the purpose of life rather than learning to leave everyone else behind even your real self.
