A fourteen-year-old boy who was blind by birth was sitting at a crowded place where no one who was passing by could avoid him. He held up a signboard, which said, “Please help the blind person.” He was worried as he had run out of money and was feeling hungry. He thought he should make an appeal to all who were passing by so that he could grab their attention but it did not work. Moreover, he started feeling exhausted, as he had not eaten anything since morning. A young street painter was observing him for quite a while as he was sitting a few steps away. He came towards him, thought for while, took his signboard and change the wording there on it.
A few minutes later, almost every second person who crossed the road gave him a coin. The young painter was still observing all this from a distance. He was happy to see that the blind beggar had made quite enough to pay for dinner by the end of the day.
When he was about to leave he asked a stranger to read the signboard. It read, “It’s a beautiful day today but I am not able to see it.”
The way you look at your life determines your success or failure in life. If you are someone, who thinks positive, life is an open road for you. On the contrary, for people who always follow others or entertain negativity, life is a mere struggle. Every problem comes with a solution, you only need to look at the broader perspective and develop a positive attitude.
