How to deal with annoying co workers

Annoying colleagues are people we often encounter in office and as we know, it is hard to escape them. They could easily get on our nerves due to some or the other peculiar habit, and annoy us to the core. However, there are always ways to deal with problems, but it varies with the kind of annoying people that we have as our co-workers.

Steer Clear Away from Gossip Lovers

At any given minute, they would just like to gossip, probably about their boss, colleagues or just about anyone or everyone. You could see a gang of them talking in close clusters and laughing as if they knew about everything and they might want you to join their group. It will better if you don’t, since nothing gives them more pleasure than to talk about someone. You would’ve been one of their subjects of talk or earlier on, so it is wise if you will keep to yourself and be as evasive as possible to them. Be polite but don’t give in any of your personal details. And as much as tempting it is, don’t gossip about your boss, even if they do. You don’t know when they will turn up and use your details against you.

Finding Fault is their thing

These are another kind of office goers who would definitely get on your nerves. They often cry out in self-pity, always worried about something or the other. You may have consoled them but they would never stop complaining and it is their job to complain and crib about everything and everyone. So, instead of trying to console them, just leave them be and move on. If you continue to stay, their companioning and constant cribbing might bring your spirit down and soon you might lose interest in work.

Flirty Colleagues

Such colleagues happen to come across when you are a new joiner at your organization, and there are some ‘colleagues’ who are looking for every possible opportunity to communicate with you and know more about you. Such a bunch of colleagues cause a lot of annoyance, as they at times don’t get the rejection to their thick and continue to ask you out. With these colleagues, it is better to avoid any kind of interaction, and try to concentrate on your work.

Be aware of Frenemies

At work, you meet a lot of people and few of them are frenemies. They act as your friends and they in fact, are anything but your friends. They are secretly selfish of you and would do anything to slander your name in office. The point is, you wouldn’t be able to find who your frenemy is, but you can be cautious and not talk about your personal stuff and keep it professional. You can indulge in jokes, but not gossip, talk about guys, but no one in particular and so.

Nosy neighbors at Office

They are one of a kind who would never learn to mind their own business and often butt in to hear what their colleagues are doing and saying. They are harmless but very annoying and more often you will find them lingering on someone else’s cabin busily collecting details regarding work or professional life, which doesn’t concern them.
