If that person needs your attention, then think whether it is okay for you to leave the house and do your morning ritual. If you do not evaluate your priority here, then would you not be counted as inflexible and selfish? Will others help you when you would be in need? Think and choose your top priority on all occasions.

A flexible individual always keeps his/her family’s desires before his/her own. Your family should always be your most loved possession. There can be nothing more rigid and selfish than keeping your desires on priority against your family. To gain real happiness, it is important to start sacrificing for the people you love the most. When it is about the needs of your family members, you should always be ready to sacrifice or postpone your own desires and fulfill theirs.
Understand thoughts and manners of other people
On the way to becoming more flexible, you should also spend some time in understanding how others think and behave. Learn their ways and manners so you may adjust accordingly. Assess their thought patterns so you may synchronize your thoughts with theirs. This is real flexibility when you can alter yourself according to the behavior of others around you. If you are ready to be flexible with people, they will also be ready to adjust better with you.
Being flexible in varied environments can lead you to happiness. Rigidity only takes people away from us. We receive whatever we are ready to offer to this world around us.
