Man boobs or moobs are becoming a problem for many people around the world. Increase in surgeries to get rid of mobs has increase by as much as six percent since 2011. There are many reasons for man boobs such as a medical condition called gynecomastia, use of anabolic steroids, congenital abnormality, excess fat and rapid weight loss.

The first reason for man boobs is related to hormonal misbalance called as gynecomastia in which estrogen levels become very high and testosterone levels go down in adrenal glands. The result is development of excess breast tissues that is attached with the nipple and surgery is the best viable option for it.

Second main reason for this problem is excess fat accumulation in the chest known as pseudogynecomastia. People with more than twenty-two percent of body as fat are vulnerable to having fatty chest tissues and suffer from mobs. There are various exercises, which can help in reducing man boobs.

Nowadays, surgery is also an option open for people.   2. Lower intake of sugar and alcohol: Baked foods have high levels of refined carbohydrates, these added with alcohol and sugar result in increasing calorie consumption.
  3. Take food that helps to bring down estrogen levels like broccoli, berries, green beans, pineapple, grapes, corn & melons.
  4. Bring down calorie intake by as much as twenty five percent. Such calorie reduction will make you hungry and you can take things like unsalted nuts, carrots, yogurt that is non-fat and celery to reduce the cravings.
