Complexity level: Easy
Time taken: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- ¼ cup light mayonnaise
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Process:
Fill a medium-sized saucepan halfway with water and place it on flame along with the eggs. Let the contents come to a boil. Reduce the flame and let the eggs simmer for 10-15 minutes. Drain out hot water from the pan and fill it with cold water. After the contents cool down, peel out the shells to obtain hard-boiled eggs. Use a sharp knife to slice the eggs into halves (lengthwise). Separate out the yolks in another bowl and keep the egg whites aside. Mash the separated egg yolks and then add white vinegar, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to obtain a uniform mix. Now, fill the egg whites with this mixture using a spoon and arrange them well on a serving dish. Sprinkle a dash of paprika on the eggs for a beautiful garnish. Refrigerate for some time and then serve.
Tips:
- You may also add thyme, cilantro, tartar sauce, or green olives to obtain different flavorings.
