It is a 7<sup>th<\/sup> Century temple built by the king for his two queens. Its unique architecture is a combination of Indian, Han, Tibetan and Nepalese styles.<\/p>\n<p><b>Namtso Lake<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Namtso is the second largest salt water lake in China, covering an expanse of 1920 square meters and rising 4718 meters above sea level. The lake is best visited in summer when the Yaks, hares and other wild animals idly look for food around it.<\/p>\n<p><b>Gandan Monaestry<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Commonly known as one of the \u201cThree Great Temples\u201d, the Gandan Monaestry was built in the year 1409 by Tsongkhapa, founder of the Gelug sect.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mount Everest<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Mount Everst, which is the highest peak in the world at 8,848 meters, lies in the border of China and Nepal.
