The national park is located in the tropics between 12degree and 14degree south of the Equator. Unlike the classical tropical climate, the region has more of a monsoonal climate. Kakadu experiences a dry season, and a wet season brought on by monsoonal troughs created over Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Kakadu national park offers various educational tours for students. It also offers junior ranger program, which provides opportunities for students to learn about local Bininj culture and the management of the park.
