It was discovered by Bundela Rajputs in 16<sup>th<\/sup> century. Orcha is an amazing land near a river and the emperor Rudra Pratap choose the place as his capital. He was the first king of Orcha and built the Fort of Orcha.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can explore the entire fort and can know more about the history of the region and the town. Chaturbhuj and Raj Mandir are main attractions of the place. These temples were built during the rule of Emperor Akbar. There is a seasonal island n the bank of the River Betwa.
