It covers around 7.2 acres of land that offers an awe-inspiring view of nature to its visitors. The zoo incorporates pathways, fences, and buildings with the natural topography creating a wilderness atmosphere and a feeling of relaxation to numerous visitors who come here every year. It houses unique species of birds that visitors can see learn about their habitats. The Zoo named for the Emperor Butterfly who once used to come to this natural valley frequently, and the Zoo came into existence when the Zoological Society of Trinidad and Tobago Inc. was founded.
