Covering an area around 10566 square kilometers, it is the second largest park in Botswana.<\/p>\n<p>Every year the park attracts thousands of visitors, as it is one of the largest game concentrations in the country. The Chobe National Park is the most diverse national park in the country. It flaunts a wildlife sanctuary containing the largest elephant population in Africa both in number and in size. Boat operators tend to keep distance from hippos. You can further see other varieties of wildlife on land.The park has a distinct wet and dry season.
