Bread and butter, it once more is in line with Nokia’s slew of budget phone launches in the past few days. The latest to join the burgeoning budget segment is Nokia’s 1680 Classic. This handset, true to its 1xxx tag is a bare basic mobile phone, but a nice looking phone at that. It has 65k TFT colour display and all the calling and texting features all mobile phones are expected to have with the Nokia audio messaging feature being a noticeable extra. The 1680 Classic also has a VGA camera and a S40 interface which is a first for a sub 50 Euro mobile phone. But the 1680 springs a couple of nice surprises for you with GPRS and EDGE making it into this phone. Overall, a cute little, basic phone that will let you do all the calling and messaging with absolute ease and even will cost a very frugal Euro 50. You can buy the Nokia 1680 Classic in the second business quarter of this year.
