I have to send this file as an attachment through my gmail account. The size of attachment is larger then the allowed file size. I think we can compress a file using a zip software. Then the file can be decompressed at the other end. But zip I believe is an older technology a lot of other better compressor are out there which can really compress files to a great deal. I want to know what are the file compression softwares which are better than zip software?
