Kids rule the ramp at Kids’ Fashion Week

The world of fashion is all about latest styles, innumerable fads and trends that keep on changing constantly. There was a time when fashion shows were simply meant as serious style events, and then it paved way for beautiful, bold, gorgeous and handsome young women and men who flaunted haute couture from leading fashion houses designed by leading designers. Soon came the time when fashion lovers saw their favorite celebrities walking on the ramp.

But then, when adults can walk and flaunt the extravagance and excellence, then why kids should be left behind? The thought seemed to intrigue fashion pundits and a slight change was welcomed on the ramp where kids walked the show clad in latest designer outfits. Yes, teens and toddlers from all over the world tried their hand at modeling by walking for the fourth annual Kids’ Fashion Week in the fashion capital of New York!

It was not just the kids, but the retailers’ mascot dog Bulls Eye who became a showstopper by becoming the model dog, walking with a model dog walker. The fun and frolic show was appreciated by fashion designers, fashion lovers and media alike.

Highlighting the latest fashion trends, one boy with red hair looked uber cool with aviator sunglasses. Another adorable moment was when two super cute girls walked down the ramp hand in hand, wearing cool hats, sundresses and cute sparkling sandals. For them, style came effortlessly! The ever so popular celebrity dog breed, pooch made an appearance with a red collar and the signature Target symbol painted on its face.

The kids’ trend mainly reflected utterly stylish float sundresses, colorful hats, and shiny sandals for girls. Moreover, the cool and casual trends for boys were filled with flattened board shorts and animal-decorated T-shirts. These kids didn’t walk like emotionally drained, stern adult models but turned heads around with their innocent faces and sparkling smiles.

The amazing kids fashion event was a collaborative effort between Petite Parade and Vogue Bambini, the popular kids centered editorials showing the latest children wear trends. According to sources, Petite Parade wanted to highlight the children’s fashion as well as the visibility of kids’ related brands through the fashion show. And with celebrity kids like Suri Cruise and Romeo Beckham walking the ramp as shop stoppers, the event became Page 3 news covered by all media houses!

The fashion show included some vibrant and colorful dresses with stripes, suited perfect for the fall and spring collections 2013.

With so much dazzle, celeb kids’ glamour and scintillating, vibrant fashion choices, the show definitely left an indelible imprint on the minds of fashion conscious individuals. Surely, the time of kids’ fashion has come – now parents cannot choose the trends for their kids!
