Right from the time of its inception, the SEE Health Forum has endeavored to bring together experts, from different sections of healthcare, to find strategic solutions regarding the fundamental healthcare and medical tourism problems. It has become one of the most important health and medical tourism event in the Southeast Europe. Unlike the other health events that specialize in highly restricted areas, SEE Health Forum lets participators discuss myriad of topics pertaining to the development of regional medical tourism and healthcare infrastructure in general. The European Center for Peace and Development University for Peace, which has been established by the United Nations, is now supporting and backing SEE Health Forum. It is worth mentioning that United Nations has been actively arranging healthcare conferences and organizing a school for healthcare management for last 20 years. The strategic partnership has created a scope for promoting Turkish healthcare institutions on Balkans at the 3rd<\/sup> SEHF conference. This year the conference is being held at Brijuni, Croatia at the initiative of the ministry of Health Montenegro and Ministry of Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with Technical University of Berlin, South Eastern Europe Health Network or SEEHN and Health Consumer Powerhouse (Sweden). This only goes on to show the immense credibility that SEE Health Forum has already generated in assembling the significant heads of healthcare from Balkan region.<\/p>

The benefits or value of the pharmaceutical industry, pricing models for generic drugs worldwide, regulation of the pharmaceutical market in different countries, ways of improving efficiency and controlling the expenditures, cost based pricing versus value based purchasing, the need of Medical Products Agency, the role and actual issues of the pharmaceutical industry in the countries of SEE region, the real conflict of interests between pharmaceutical industry, patients and doctors, decision making between incentives and demagogue, all these vital topics will be discussed during the preliminary program of the conference.
